Sports Law
Sports law is assuming increasing social relevance in today’s society. Sports agents are confronted daily with problems that require a response and a legal framework.
The professionals at BAS have dedicated themselves to and gained ground in the field of Sports Employment Contracts, notably as lecturers in postgraduate programs and through participation in debates and conferences that address the legal reform of sports employment contracts and where the exchange between Law and Sport prevails.
Sports Law is a recent area of practice for BAS, encompassing matters of great current relevance and growing social importance.
The BAS team provides legal advice to all those involved in the field of Sports Law, whether athletes, clubs, sports societies, intermediaries or companies in the sports sector, in various aspects, including the drafting and negotiation of sports employment contracts, agency and sponsorship; general advice to sports clubs; and sports-related litigation.
