Cláudia Monge participated, on behalf of BAS, in the 14th National Congress of Public Procurement, promoted by APMEP – Portuguese Association of Public Markets, with intervention dedicated to the theme “Ecological Pact – sustainability and procurement in the health area”.

Public procurement is an instrument to fulfill the state’s duties to protect the environment. The implementation of measures in the area of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency must be reinforced, in particular in the framework of the Environmental Sustainability Programme at the Ministry of Health (ECO@SAÚDE).
