Cláudia Monge in debate with patient organizations 

“Hospital without walls” was the title of the meeting with patient associations promoted by the Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte (CHULN), which took place on September 18 at the Santa Maria Hospital.

Cláudia Monge, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and Guest Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon took part in the first debate panel with associations “Rights and duties of health institutions and user associations”.

With this meeting, CHULN wanted to open its doors to patient associations and invite them to discuss collaboration projects, based on the common goal of developing a health system centered on citizens and particularly patients, demonstrating a commitment to ethics and humanization.
